Why do I have to use ampoules from the same batch?
Delvotest Go will estimate the control time based on test made on slot 1 with negative antibiotic-free milk.
This is the best moment to read the results for optimal sensitivity.
The control time can vary slightly from batch to batch. Due to the nature of the spore bacteria in the Delvotest medium, the control time can change throughout shelf life or during storage/ transport.
As long as the test is read at control time the sensitivity will not be impacted.
That is why we recommend to run a new reference (negative milk) test every time you use a new batch and periodically throughout shelf life.
Your Delvotest Go device will give you a reminder once a new negative milk test is needed.
