Batch code explanation
Delvotest® tests come with a unique label that contains clear and traceable information regarding the production process of the plate or ampoule grid.
Delvotest® plate barcode
For Delvotest® plates, the label is placed on the side of the plate, next to column 1. It contains the manufacturing information as plain text and as encrypted barcode. The encrypted barcode can be read by the DAS automatic reader incubation device.
Here is a break down of what information the label provides in the example below:

24: This test was produced in 2024.
D: The letter on this position refers to the month of production. D is 4th month of the year, April. (A is for January, B for February, C for March, D for April, and so on)
30: Day of the month when the test was produced. In this case 30th day of the month.
A: This letter refers to the sub-batch produced. When multiple intermediate batches of the same product are produced on a given day, the sub-batch letter is used to indicate the order of which the batch was produced.
30: Product code. This is a unique code per product type produced. For example, "30" refers to Delvotest® T plates, "31" describes Delvotest® ampoules. This is an internal code that helps logistics.
Delvotest® Ampoule label information
Same coding applies for ampoules with the difference of the product code being specific for T or SPNT ampoules, 31 or 85 respectively. These codes are imprinted onto the grid of the ampoules.

Older ampoule grid formats contain similar product information with the same barcode logic.
Batch code of combined production batches
At the packing stage, intermediate batches are consolidated into a single batch of final product, represented by a code where a / or - is used in front of the product code.
For example, sub-batches made on the same day with 24C14A31, 24C14B31, 24C14C31 and so forth, can be packaged in the same box as 24C13/31 or 24C14-31.
Similarly, plates can also be consolidated into a box with batch code 24C14/30 or 24C14-30
This final product batch code is used on labels and Certificates of Analysis (CoA), ensuring a direct linkage between the final product and its intermediate batches, thereby facilitating traceability and validating the CoA for the associated material.
